Snowater is on the Nooksack River at the edge of Mount Baker
National Forest. Close by, enjoy hiking and white-water rafting
in warmer months. Just 19 miles (31 kilometers) away, the
Mount Baker Ski Area has an average annual snowpack of
250 inches (635 centimeters) and skiing from November
through April. On-site are a sauna, game room, and tennis,
squash, and racquetball courts. Due to the geological setting,
there is no cellular phone service, although there are phones
and Wi-Fi in the units and satellite cable for TV reception.
