FENWAY’S HOME-RUN MENU

The oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball is stepping up its food game this

year. In addition to all-time classics, such as lobster rolls and Fenway Franks,

Fenway Park now offers ingenious food combinations, including tater tots

topped with shredded buffalo chicken and blue cheese crumble, a lobster BLT

(or LBLT), and Sam’s Slammin’ Onion — deep-fried in a Samuel Adams lager

batter (a salute to the official beer sponsor of the Boston Red Sox). You can also

brunch at the ballpark, with French toast sticks or a breakfast burger sand-

wiched between two waffles instead of a bun. And for dessert, order a Banana

Splitter sundae: a scoop of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream served

in between a half-sliced banana. Yum!

Hersheypark, the sweetest place on Earth,

is about to get a whole lot sweeter when

Hershey’s Chocolatetown opens next

summer. This new section will feature an

up-to-date entrance gate, a flagship store, a Starbucks coffeehouse, and the

15th Coaster, which will be Hersheypark’s “fastest, tallest, longest, sweet-

est” ride to date. Other attractions include a revamped carrousel ride and

a Hershey’s kiss–shaped fountain where you can take photos with

Hershey’s Bar, Kit Kat, and the rest of the Hershey fam. Chocolatetown will

also have three dining options — a full-service themed restaurant, an ice

cream parlor, and a confectionary kitchen — that will be accessible from

both inside and outside the park gates, and open year-round (the park itself

is open seasonally).
