Ratatouille: The Adventure, Epcot
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
A collective “roar” went up when Disney World’s fourth theme park
opened on April 22, 1998 — but it wasn’t just from the people in
attendance. Along with a new slate of rides and attractions, came
some of the world’s most exotic animals in one of the lushest set-
tings imaginable. Animal Kingdom got a bit of a jump-start on the
other parks, with its newest additions having debuted in 2017:
Pandora – The World of Avatar, based on the groundbreaking
film (and soon-to-be sequels), transports visitors to the imaginary
planet. And during Animal Kingdom After Dark, guests can
experience Kilimanjaro Safaris under the moonlight, and the Rivers
of Light nighttime show captivates with a stunning display of light,
sound, and water in celebration of the natural world.
