INSTANT CONFIRMATION
To get started, sign in to IntervalWorld.com. (If you haven’t already
created a web profile, now’s a great time to do so.) Click the Exchange
tab and enter your vacation criteria, such as desired destination(s),
travel dates, and the size of your travel party. Search for availability,
then select the week you would like to trade, or the number of points
you would like to use. If you find the exchange you want, you’ll receive
an instant confirmation, and you can start packing!
If you don’t find the exchange you want, use one of Interval’s
powerful exchange methods — Deposit First or Request First.
DEPOSIT FIRST
Use Deposit First when you know you want a different vacation
experience from your home resort. You’ll relinquish your week for
use by other members, and, in return, you’ll receive a travel window
of up to four years, allowing you to make an exchange anytime from
two years before to two years after the first day of your home resort
week — that’s a lot of time and flexibility! Since you can deposit your
week up to two years prior to your resort check-in date, we strongly
encourage you to do so, as you will enjoy greater trading power than
if you deposit a year or six months in advance.
REQUEST FIRST
If you prefer to retain your home resort week until you receive an
exchange confirmation, use Request First. It provides you the security
of having your home resort as a fallback option should you not receive
a confirmation. You can travel up to two years before the week you offer
in exchange until the dates of that week, but not after. Note: Points-
based members will always use Request First.
PLACE A REQUEST
Whether you use Deposit First or Request First, it’s important to place a
request as soon as you know where you want to go. Weeks are added
to our system daily, so the one you want may become available at any
time. And best of all, we’ll do the searching for you.
This is important: If you don’t place a request, the vacation that
you want could be confirmed to someone who has — so don’t delay!

a unit with the minimum sleeping capacity necessary to increase
