POINTS OWNERS AND ENROLLED OWNERS
As a Vacation Club Points Owner or Enrolled Owner, you may
redeem Vacation Club Points for a seven-night vacation at hundreds
of resorts outside of the Marriott Vacation Club Collection. As our
exchange partner, Interval International facilitates all exchanges
outside of the Marriott Vacation Club Collection.
The number of Vacation Club Points required will vary depending
on your desired vacation location, seasonal demand, and desired villa
size.To determine the seasonal demand of your desired vacation resort,
refer to the Travel Demand Index located in this Directory at the
beginning of each geographical region, and at IntervalWorld.com.
Once you have reviewed the Travel Demand Index value for your
desired vacation time frame, you can find out how many Vacation
Club Points your exchange will require by referring to the points valu-
ation chart below:
Visit IntervalWorld.com or call your vacation advisors for assistance
with using your Vacation Club Points to confirm an exchange or to
place a request with Interval.
Please note that when you are requesting an External Exchange (to
a non–Marriott Vacation Club resort), exchange fees for each week
requested are not included in your Club Dues and must be paid at the
time the exchange is confirmed or the request is placed. The amount
of the External Exchange fee varies based on the country of your
desired destination. If Interval International is not able to confirm your
vacation, your Vacation Club Points will be returned to your account,
and the External Exchange fee will be refunded.
For your best opportunity at confirming a vacation through Interval,
request as many resorts and dates as you are willing to accept. You
must request a minimum of three different resorts and at least one
time period, one resort and three time periods or two resorts and two
time periods. Also, place your exchange request as early as possible
(at least one year in advance of your desired travel date).
