AS THE QUALITY VACATION EXCHANGE NETWORK,
Interval International has been
renowned for its high standards for more than 35 years. Every resort that is affiliated must meet Interval’s
quality standards and provide the caliber of vacation experience that our members expect. Once they join
our network, these resorts are reviewed regularly to ensure that they continue to meet our criteria.
In order to provide expanded quali-
tative information about the resorts
in our network, Interval has a multi-
tiered Resort Recognition program.
Based on research, resort inspections,
and your Vacation Evaluation forms,
the program is a valuable vacation-
planning tool that can help you choose
resorts that meet or exceed your
expectations.
THE CRITERIA
PricewaterhouseCoopers’ U.S. Hospitality & Leisure Practice was
engaged to assist Interval in the development of the program. The
determination of the tiers incorporates refined recognition criteria,
taking into consideration:
Desirability of resort location
Level of guest services
Size, style, and decor of accommodations
Condition and appearance of common areas
Nature and scope of amenities
Recent trends in vacation ownership products
Extent and variety of recreational facilities
The overall guest experience
The Resort Recognition Awards are reviewed annually by Interval
International. Feedback from regular property inspections and your
Vacation Evaluations remain important considerations in this review.
THE TIERS
By meeting our already-high affiliation
standards and being accepted into our
network, all of Interval’s member resorts
are recognized for their quality. Those
recognized as Interval International
Select Resorts and Interval International
Premier Resorts exceed our affiliation
requirements.

recognition, provide an outstanding vacation experience, with

ments. They are identified by the laurel, a symbol of distinction,
high standards, and status.
Within the highest level of recognition, Premier Boutique Resorts
provide an outstanding vacation experience, with excellent accom-
modations in desirable locations, and limited on-site amenities.
