HOW TO

EXCHANGE

If you own a week ...

Signing in to IntervalWorld.com is the fastest and easiest way

to exchange. Click the Exchange tab, search for availability,

and then pick the week you would like to trade — one that

you’ve already deposited or one that you have yet to relin-

quish (an open week).

For most members, the information

you will need about your week will

already be loaded into our interactive

exchange system. Depending on your

home resort, you might need to

provide only your three-letter resort

code, week number, unit number,

and size. Some resorts assign a

week for an owner’s use directly

into Interval’s exchange system or

require a reservation. Contact your

home resort if you are unsure.

Next, select the vacation week

that you want; if it’s available, you will

receive an instant confirmation, and you

can prepare for your trip. If you don’t imme-

diately find what you’re looking for, choose an

exchange method — Deposit First or Request First.

DEPOSIT FIRST

Use Deposit First when you are sure you want a different

vacation experience — even if you don’t receive an instant

confirmation. Once you deposit your week, you give Interval

the immediate right to assign it to someone else.

With Deposit First, you’ll have the flexibility of a

four-year travel window — you can exchange anytime from

two years before to two years after the first day of

your home resort week. You cannot request

travel dates more than 24 months in advance

of your travel date.

Be sure to deposit as early as possible to

improve your opportunity for exchange

confirmation over deposited weeks that

enter the system later with comparable

trading power.

After you deposit your week, place a

request. Availability changes daily, so the

week you want may become available at

any time. If you do not submit a request, the

vacation in which you’re interested could be

confirmed to someone who has, because the

exchange system first matches deposited resort weeks to

requests that already have been placed.
