HOW TO USE YOUR RESORT DIRECTORY
PLANNING GREAT VACATIONS is easy with this Directory. If you’re already familiar with how to
use this book, turn to page 8 for information and advice on completing a vacation exchange.
SELECTING A DESTINATION — This Directory groups Interval
member resorts into 24 geographical regions. Each region is further
divided into vacation areas and, finally, into individual resort features.
There are several ways to locate a vacation area and resort.
The Contents pages provide a color-coded guide to regions and
vacation areas.And city, state, country, or region names that appear
on colored tabs on each right-hand page help you flip quickly to
an area.
The online Resort Directory at IntervalWorld.commakes it even
easier to find a resort. You can search by location, activities and
amenities, unit size, and the resort code or name.
VACATION PLANNING — Travel Demand Indexes appear at the
beginning of each region. The Travel Demand Index demonstrates
historical strength of inbound leisure travel demand in a given area.
Turn to page 13 for a more detailed explanation.
LIMITED EXCHANGE ACTIVITY designated resorts have only a
limited number of vacation units available for exchange.This could
be because few members at these resorts wish to relinquish their
weeks for exchange, or because the resort is a small development
with few owners who can offer their vacation accommodations to
the Interval system. Demand for these resorts and/or vacation areas
usually exceeds the supply. Limited Exchange Activity status is
subject to change at any time. Please refer to the online Resort
Directory for the most up-to-date information.
NEW MEMBER RESORTS also usually have a limited number of
units available for exchange.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION OR RENOVATION resorts are in vari-
ous stages of construction or are improving accommodations or
facilities. No amenity symbols are shown. These are destinations
you may want to consider in the future.
SPECIAL EXCHANGE AVAILABILITY DESIGNATIONS
GEOGRAPHICAL HEADING The geographical heading matches the
heading in the index and the link in the online Resort Directory.
RESORT CODE Use the three-letter resort code when you make a
deposit or request an exchange.
GOLF RESORT Resorts participating in the Golf Resort program have an
18-hole golf course on-site or within close proximity. These resorts also
extend special golf-related benefits to Interval members.
ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT These properties require the purchase of a
meal plan payable to the resort. You will be advised of the charges
when you request an exchange or Getaway.
MAP REFERENCE Indicates page number of region map and map
coordinates for the resort’s location.
RESORT ADDRESS The address for check-in may differ from the
address shown. When your exchange is confirmed, you will receive
check-in instructions and directions to the resort.
RESORT TELEPHONE Resort telephone numbers are stated as for
calling from within the same country, but outside the resort city. Add the
international telephone prefix to call a resort from outside its country.
AIRPORT Location of the closest major airport, its airport code, and
distance to the resort expressed in miles (M) and kilometers (K).
Alternate or regional airports also may provide access to some resorts.
RESORT WEBSITE ADDRESS
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT DAY(S) These are established by the
resort and may vary. Your exchange confirmation will indicate the specific
day and time applicable to the unit week you have received.
TRAVEL DEMAND INDEX REFERENCE This number identifies the
Travel Demand Index chart that is applicable to the resort.
