After experiencing Santa Catarina’s magnificent coastline, it may
be difficult to believe there could be another place in Brazil
equally as pretty, or as worthy of your vacation time.

(above). Far removed from the bustle of São Paulo, this is the type of
place where time slows down and it’s possible to truly relax, whether
you do it on the sand or by escaping into the nearby rain forest. Be
sure to check out the island of Ilhabela, too. It’s a wildlife hotspot,
and prime destination for hiking and scuba diving.
