BACKSTAGE ACCESS
Get a behind-the-scenes look at the white rhinoceroses that live
inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You may have already seen them
on the park’s Kilimanjaro Safaris tour, but this new 60-minute expe-
rience, called Up Close With Rhinos, delves deeper into the history of
the world’s second-largest land mammal, as well as the conservation
efforts to keep it from extinction. You’ll also see how the park takes
care of the rhinos—and you may even get close enough to pet one!

Join in the winemaking pro-
cess at Lakeridge Winery
& Vineyard’s SummerFest
Grape Stomp, where you can dance barefoot while crushing
grapes inside a barrel. Held June 8 and 9 at the vineyard
in Clermont (about a 35-minute drive from Orlando), this
weekend celebration features live music on an outdoor stage
and inside the winery. While you’re there, take advantage of the
complimentary winery tours and tastings, and finish off the day
at Lakeridge’s food pavilion, where you can get their wine by the
glass along with a cheese plate, or order a heartier meal.
GRAPE-STOMPING FUN
OUT OF THE BOX
Boxi Park, a one-of-a-kind entertainment district made entirely of repurposed shipping containers, has made its
home at Lake Nona Town Center. The 30,000-square-foot open-air venue includes two bars, a beer garden, an
outdoor stage, beach volleyball courts, a fenced dog park, and a kids’ playground. The park also features a food
hall concept, with a varying lineup of restaurants showcasing multiple cuisines. Regular onstage programming
is scheduled on weekdays and weekends, and complimentary parking is available.
