There probably aren’t many people who’d actually
want to spend an evening working with Gordon
Ramsay, the talented celebrity chef who gained
popularity for his disheartening outbursts on
cooking television programs such as Kitchen
Nightmares. Eating the food that’s produced as a
result of those tantrums, however, is a completely
different story. At the recently opened Gordon
Ramsay Pub & Grill in Caesars Atlantic City, hun-
gry patrons can devour delicious takes on
shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, bangers and
mash, beef Wellington, and more, all overseen by
somebody who did have what it took to survive
Ramsay’s intense tutelage, La Tasha McCutchen,
the season 13 winner of Hell’s Kitchen.

From Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale to Miami, South Florida is home to a
vibrant open-air arts-festival scene come wintertime. On January 9 and 10,
2016, more than 150 photographers, painters, sculptors, and other creators
will line Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard for its namesake fair. The 29th
Annual Boca Fest takes place January 16 and 17 in Boca Raton, while the
juried 65th Annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art happens the same weekend at
the University of Miami. And a few days later on January 23 and 24, you can
stroll the 27th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Festival of the Arts.

Simply showing up at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts connects
visitors to one of the most powerful and important social movements
in American history: The facility is located where the original Woodstock
music festival took place in 1969. And through December 2015, the
museum’s Threads: Connecting ’60s & Modern Rockwear display
examines a particular piece of that period with a fascinating — and
infinitely colorful — glimpse at how rock-star clothing has influenced
the world of fashion design, and continues to impact today’s wardrobe
trends. Threads is guest curated by Andy Hilfiger, brother to famous
couturier Tommy, with pieces from his personal collection.
