More than 200 workers skillfully hand-hewed the timbers that support this edifice, which bears Norse details throughout. You’ll find
Nordic influences in the dragon-head carvings on the roof peaks and the metalwork on the fireplaces, as well as Scandinavian-style
roof sections composed of sod with wildflowers.

This castle-like building was conceived by a woman who intended it to be a place of relaxation and gracious hospitality. Nowadays,
visitors can enjoy the beautiful surroundings complete with waterfalls and a beach, and go boating or kayaking.

To tour this structure, you’ll need to plan your visit for a certain time of the year. While people once arrived by car (and enjoyed
horseback rides on the property), you can now only get there on foot or by private boat.
RULES: Entrants must be active members of Interval International. Employees of Interval International, its subsidiaries, parent companies, and affiliates, and the families
of each are not eligible to participate. More than one entry per member family is prohibited. Contest is open only to U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older. Void
where prohibited by law in Canada. Entries must be postmarked no later than Nov. 1, 2019, and will not be returned to members. Winners will be the first 10 correct answers
selected in a random drawing. By entering the contest, you understand that you provide Interval International the right to use your name and hometown if you are a selected
winner. Winners will be selected Nov. 15, 2019. Prizes will be mailed directly to winners, and winning members’ names and hometowns will be published once a year on this
page of the magazine. No purchase is necessary. There is no cash equivalent to the prizes.
