Kings Orlando
combines bowling with fantastic food,
creative cocktails, energetic music, and classic games, all
wrapped up in a warm, retro-inspired aesthetic.
THE SETTING:
Walk in the front doors and step into a bygone era. Kings Orlando is
a 30,000-square-foot blast from the past, and is chock-full of fun diversions. We’re
talking 22 bowling lanes, billiard tables, bocce ball, foosball, shuffleboard, and table
tennis. Two bars serve a variety of mixed drinks, beer, and wine, and more than 60
big-screen, high-definition televisions and projector screens broadcast popular sport-
ing events.
THE MENU:
This isn’t your typical bowling alley fare. Appetizers run the gamut from
dolled-up bar staples such as hot wings and nachos to barbecue pulled-pork wontons
and Brussels sprouts with smoked bacon, fried onion strings, and horseradish dipping
sauce. For your main course, choose from full-plate salads, designer burgers and
sandwiches, homemade pizzas, and a host of entrees. And for dessert, an old-fashioned
soda fountain dispenses decadent milkshakes and ice cream floats.
THE PARTICULARS:
Kings Orlando is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. The
establishment is kid friendly — to a point. After 8 p.m., it’s strictly an over-21 crowd.
