Culmination of Construction
The last phase of the resort’s development, which wrapped up in April
2016, included the unveiling of a redesigned lobby, two new dining
venues, fitness center upgrades, and a new spa concept that’s already
garnering rave reviews. The lobby area was expanded to facilitate faster
check-in and checkout, and includes comfortable lounging areas and
easy access from the property’s entrance. The new design reflects a
classic-luxury theme, featuring wooden detailing, ornate chandeliers,
and rustic Mexican decor. Works by local artists hang on the walls of the
lobby’s lounge areas.
“Our previous lobby was located deeper into the property, which
meant guests had to arrive, walk for about five minutes, and reach
the check-in stations,” Orozco says. “With the new lobby, guests
are right at the entrance and have the comfort of our new lounge
areas, where they can start feeling relaxed even from the moment
they walk in.”
